Masbate Board Member Jason Arevalo suspends transactions at the provincial council for disinfection
Transactions in and with the Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan are suspended for now, Masbate Board Member Jason Arevalo announced on Facebook.
Arevalo said the transactions would be on hold up to next Friday as the office would undergo disinfection.
The officials would also wait for the results of the RT-PCR tests of its staff, he added.
In the meantime, workers in the office are asked to work from home and to isolate themselves while waiting for the results of their tests.
Transactions would resume September 21.
This is all for safety!
“Acting on behalf of the Vice Governor and in due consultation with her, I, in my capacity as Senior Board Member, hereby suspend transactions in and with the Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan beginning this afternoon and until next Friday pending completion of the disinfection of the SP hall and premises and the release of the Rt-PCR tests of the SP staff. SP employees and casuals are enjoined to work from home and stay in isolation pending results of the tests. The public may transact with the SP Office on the Monday after next or on 21 September 2020. Please be guided accordingly. May God bless everyone!” Arevalo posted.
