Albay Vice Gov. Grex Lagman is a proud ninong
Albay Vice Gov. Grex Lagman has gotten his first godchild in Libon, Albay, and has vowed to be a good ninong.
In a Facebook post, Lagman shared that the baby is the son of his good friend, Councilor John Andrew Raner, and his wife Cathy.
He felt honored to be a godfather tasked with guiding baby Uno in the Catholic Christian faith.
He said he would provide the child guidance and support and would back his parents’ efforts to raise him well.
Looks like he wants to be a model ninong!
“Very glad to formally experience being a ninong to my very first inaanak sa binyag in Libon, Albay. The baby boy is John Andrew “UNO” Dawal Ranera. He is the first born child of my friend and now compadre Coun. John Andrew Ranera and comadre Cathy D. Ranera.
I am honored to be your godfather in the Catholic Christian faith. Rest assured, Uno, of my guidance and support as your ninong. I will just be behind your parents’ efforts when they make sure you grow up in wonder and amazement as you discover the essential facets of our Catholic faith. 🙏🙏🙏,” Lagman posted.
