A friend to the king! Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero remembers FPJ on the latter’s birthday

The late Fernando Poe Jr. had been a significant part of Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero’s life, and he did not forget to remember Da King on his birthday.
In a Facebook post, Escudero paid tribute to FPJ, who he described as his former boss, friend, and the leader the country never had.
Escudero had served as FPJ’s campaign spokesperson when the latter ran for President.
He had also been the running mate of FPJ’s daughter Sen. Grace Poe when she made a bid for the presidency.
His life is intertwined with that of Da King!
“Happy birthday to ‘Da King’ of Philippine Movies, FPJ, who was my former boss, friend, and the leader our country never had.
Rest in peace, Sir,” Escudero posted.
