Those were the days! Ako Bicol Rep. Alfredo Garbin remembers past SONAs
The President’s penultimate state of the nation address is going to be a very different one.
Since it is taking place amid the pandemic, there would be very few guests allowed in the gallery for this year and many lawmakers and officials would have to content themselves with watching it via livestream.
In a Facebook post, Ako Bicol Rep. Alfredo Garbin looked back on the previous SONAs he attended as a lawmaker.
Garbin shared photos from the past events, which he attended with his wife.
We wonder what else will be new in this year’s SONA?
“These were some images of the previous SONA i attended to as member of the House of Representatives. On Monday, July 27, the 5th State of the Nation Address of PRRD will be much different as only 50 people will be allowed inside the Batasan Gallery. The rest of the officials and lawmakers will join virtually,” Garbin posted.
