The Sorsogon provincial government announced that two more COVID-19 patients in the province have fully recovered from the dreaded disease.
Dr. Roberto A. Chacon Jr., Chief of Hospital of Sorsogon Provincial Hospital, allowed Vanessa B. Putong, identified as Bicol #145 and Sorsogon #8 to be discharged from the hospital after securing clearance from the DOH Bicol.
“Si Putong na dalawang linggong nanatili sa covid ward ng SPH ay nagkaroon ng close contact kay Bicol #114 at Sorsogon #4 dahil nagsilbi itong caregiver sa panahon ng confinement ng nabangit na pasyente,” said the provincial government.
The other patient who recovered and will soon be discharged is Fabian Deuna, 26 years old identified as Bicol #143 a d Sorsogon #6.
Meanwhile, another COVID-19 case has been recorded in the province.
Governor Chiz Escudero announced that Homer Fermanes Guda, 51 years old from Brgy. Pawa, Matnog, tested positive for coronavirus.
“Si Guda, isang vegetable vendor sa Makati City, ay bumiyahe mula Metro Manila papuntang Matnog, Sorsogon noong July 7 sakay ng nirentahang van kasama ang anim(6) na pasahero at dalawang driver. Dumiretso sila sa Matnog Quarantine Facility at hindi na pinayagang makauwi sa kanilang mga tahanan,” said the province.
“Kasabay ng pag-positibo ni Guda sa covid-19, sumailalim rin sa RT-PCR o swab test ang anim niyang kasamahan at nasa pangangalaga na ngayon sa loob ng mga quarantine facilities ng lalawigan,” it added.
