Albay gov’t, TESDA train residents on organic vegetable production
The Albay provincial government has teamed up with the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) to train the residents on organic vegetable production.
TESDA and the Albay government were joined by the Diocese of Legazpi in bringing the training with the beneciaries.
“The Provincial Government of Albay together with TESDA Albay and the Diocese of Legazpi provided Training on Organic Vegetable Production and Production of Organic Concoctions and Extracts to Socio-Economic Development Program (SEDP) beneficiaries at the Libon Parish Hall,” Governor Al Francis Bichara said.
SEDP is a service program under the Social Action Center (SAC), Diocese of Legazpi, and the Simbag sa Pag-asenso, Inc.
The program aims to deliver financial and non-financial assistance alongside training to help micro-entrepreneurial families towards the improvement of their socio-economic condition.
It likewise seeks for the political empowerment and enhanced spiritual well-being of the beneciaries.
