COVID-19 cases in Bicol still at 68

For a few days now, coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in Bicol Region remain at 68.

Department of Health Center for Health Development Bicol reported yesterday night that seven test results arrived from RITM yesterday and all of them turned out to be negative..

“Patient with local code Bicol#52, a 26-year old Physician from Daraga, Albay yielded his 1st negative result via RT-PCR. Said patient is clinically recovered and for facility quarantine for 14 days and repeat swab thereafter,” said the department.

However, the BOH Bicol reminded that this is not the time to be complacent.

“DOH CHD-Bicol reminds the public that the Community Quarantine is still in effect, thus, guidelines and directives must be complied with,” it said.

“Staying in our homes and following preventive measures against COVID-19 are the simplest yet helpful acts which everyone can contribute in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 in the community,” it added.
