Weathermen deserve to be honored, too, says Camarines Sur Rep. Gabriel Bordado Jr.
When typhoon Ambo swept through the country amid the COVID 19 health crisis, the important role that weathermen play came into stark relief.
Camarines Sur Rep. Gabriel Bordado Jr. made sure to make the province’s top weatherman know his work is appreciated.
In a Facebook post, Bordado thanked Mike “Mr. Typhoon” Padua for his timely and highly reliable weather reports.
He said Padua has been with the province since 2004, joining them amid literally stormy days and nights, he added.
Where would we be without him?
“MIGHTY MIKE: Again, thank you very much, Padi Mike “Mr. Typhoon” Padua, for your timely and highly reliable weather reports. Since 2004 (when the legendary Mayor JESSE M. ROBREDO backed him up), Mike Padua has been with us during our stormy days and nights—literally!” Bordado posted.
