Labo barangays get COVID-19 relief packs from CamNorte Capitol

Nine barangays in Labo in Camarines Norte have received food packs from the provincial government.

Governor Egay Tallado, Congresswoman Josie Baning Tallado together with Board Member Artemio Serdon and Board Member Aida Dasco spearheaded the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) relief operation.

The recipients are families from Bayabas, Guisican, Tigbinan, Cabatuhan, Malaya, Malibago, Anameam, Malatap and Canapawan.

Present during the event were Municipal Administrator Jojo Francisco representing Mayor Joseph Ascutia of Labo.

“Sa ngalan ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Labo sa pamumuno ni Mayor Joseph Ascutia at Vice Mayor Dindo Pardo, nagpapasalamat po kami Governor Egay at Cong. Josie sapagkat andyan kayo patuloy ang pagtulong sa bayan ng Labo na bagamat sa nararanasan natin ngayon, andyan ang COVID at Bagyong Ambo pero hindi naging sagabal ang bagyo upang hindi ito maihatid para sa ating mga barangay,” Francisco said

“Malaki ang maitutulong nito sa bawat pamilyang mabibigyan lalo na sa ganitong krisis”, added Francisco.

Meanwhile, a total of 5,053 food packs were distributed to the barangays, that were represented by the chairmen and their respective councils.

The breakdown are as follows:

1. Anameam – 420
2. Bayabas – 360
3. Canapawan – 602
4. Guisican – 450
5. Malatap – 750
6. Cabatuhan – 485
7. Malaya – 523
8. Malibago – 388
9. Tigbinan – 1,075

“Sa panahon ngayon, pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan ang dapat na mangibabaw imbes na pulitika ang pinag-uusapan, bilang inatasan ni Governor Egay Tallado na magtungo sa bawat bayan upang isagawa ang pamamahagi ng ayudang ito hangad ko na lahat ng households ay makatanggap ng tulong na ito mula sa Kapitolyo Probinsyal”, said Rep..Tallado.
