Masbate Board Member Jason Arevalo whips up pasta and chicken for his bday
For his birthday, Masbate Board Member Jason Arevalo made sure his family got to eat something special.
On Facebook, Arevalo shared that he cooked baked ziti and fried chicken to give his children a break from canned goods.
He was happy with the simple feast, and said he could not have something grander since he isn’t a top ranking police officer.
Besides, the province is under quarantine, so lavish parties shouldn’t be allowed.
Anyway, there’s nothing wrong with a simple party. At least it doesn’t come under fire, he added.
A simple party is better than a mañanita, right?
“Done with my crude baked ziti and fried chicken.
For a change, my kiddos will have something other than canned goods. A simple gastronomic detour on my birthday and Our Lady of Fatima’s feast day.
Btw, I’m no top rank police officer. Can’t have a lavish party. It’s still ECQ, right, Sirs!
Simplicity is virtue. One’s birthday would not have been under fire if people are simple, if people can keep things simple,” Arevalo posted.
