Food gardens keep the province fed, says Albay Gov. Al Francis Bichara

Albay Gov. Al Francis Bichara is happy to hear success stories of the province’s family-based food gardening program.

In a Facebook psot, Bichara said a local farmer from Polangui benefited from the program, which is administered by the Albay Provincial Agricultural Office in partnership with the Department of Agriculture Regional Office V.

The program, which helps families plant vegetables at home, seeks to ensure that each household would have enough food supply.

It has helped keep many families fed, especially during this health crisis.

Another local farmer from Barangay Gabon in the Municipality of Polangui is also a beneficiary of the Albay Family-Based Food Gardening program of the Provincial Government of Albay through the Albay Provincial Agricultural Office and in partnership with the Department of Agriculture Regional Office V.

The program aims to have enough supply of food in every household especially during this time that we are encountering health emergency crisis. Here is Ruben Sabalboro’s testimony.
