We can celebrate summer later, says Odiongan Mayor Trina Fabic
The Philippines is in the midst of its summer months, but the quarantine to prevent the spread of COVID 19 has disrupted many plans to go to the beach or the mountains.
Odiongan Mayor Trina Fabic knows the feeling, but reminded her constituents that they would get to enjoy summer someday.
But for the meantime, it is more important to follow general community guidelines to keep themselves safe and healthy, she said.
The GCQ guidelines include frequent handwashing, wearing of face masks, social distancing, limited passengers in tricycles, and no swimming, basketball, or drinking in public places.
Safety first! The summer fun could come later.
“Balang araw…
In effect pa rin ang curfew 8pm to 4am.
