Quarantine extension means eating more sardinas, Masbate Board Member Jason Arevalo
Now that the President has declared another extension of the enhanced community quarantine over several parts of the country, Masbate Board Member Jason Arevalo expects to eat more sardines.
In a Facebook post, Arevalo said his virtual home arrest has not been enough to earn him freedom.
Since the quarantine has not brought down COVID 19 cases in the country, he and many others have to continue staying at home.
He said this could be blamed on the rule breakers or the system that spawns them.
But in the meantime, he would have to continue eating canned mackerel in red sauce, aka sardinas.
It looks like he has several brands at home.
Maybe he should start looking up different sardines recipes to spice up his menu!
The Man Upstairs just said it.
This virtual home arrest is extended. My religiously staying at home has not earned me enough good conduct points to bless me freedom. Blame ’em pasaways or the system that spawns them.
Well, not that I relish it, but it looks like my gastronomic tryst with canned mackerel in red sauce is to stay for a little while.
Cheers to canned choices and cloistered lives!
Missing Masbate much. Masbate in mind. Masbate in my mind…” Arevalo posted.
