COVID-19 cases in Bicol Region now at 35
The confirmed cases of coronavirus disease in Bicol Region are now at 35, the Department of Health Center for Health Development – Bicol reported last night.
One more case was recorded yesterday and he is identified as Bicol#35.
He is 40-year old Filipino male from Legazpi City, Albay, who arrived from Manila on March 20.
“Onset of illness was on April 18, 2020. Said patient is admitted at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH) on April 22, 2020. Bicol#35 is a frontliner,” said the DOH-CHD
Meanwhile, one more patient has recovered from the disease. He is identified as Bicol#20, a 54-year old male from Legazpi City, Albay who tested positive last April 18, and was discharged. He first tested negative on April 21.
Recoveries is now at 21. Current confirmed positive remains at eleven.
The DOH also appealed to the public to strictly follow the enhanced community quarantine procedures, do not go outsied unless needed.
“Observe preventive measures against COVID-19 such as proper hand washing, social distancing and using of face mask when going out. Be a responsible and a disciplined Bicolano,” said the DOH-CHD
