Chills! VP Robredo touched by musical tribute for frontliners

Vice President Leni Robredo could not help but be touched by the “hauntingly beautiful” violin rendition of Enya’s May It Be, which accompanied a special video tribute to frontline workers.

Robredo shared the video on Facebook, which featured photos taken from her office’s operations to help the essential personnel and others in need.

She also thanked the members of her staff and office who have performed above the call of duty.

She also paid tribute to volunteers and donors who helped make all these possible.

Let’s take a moment to thank them for their deeds!

“Hauntingly beautiful violin rendition of Enya’s MAY IT BE by Rosa Lapeña Concepcion and Rey Casey Concepcion as a special tribute to our frontliners who are laying their lives on the line to save us.

Because all the pictures used were taken from our operations, this takes on a whole new meaning for me and I am truly grateful to the OVP family -officials, unit heads, rank-and-file, VPSD, drivers, utility – who, at a time like this, are performing way beyond what is expected of them. Same gratitude goes to our many volunteers and donors, without whom, we will never be able to do what we are doing now,” Robredo posted.
