CamSur Rep. Bordado turns over PPEs for Bicol Medical Center frontliners
Camarines Sur Rep. Gabriel Bordado, Jr. recently turned over the second batch of personal protective equipment to the Bicol Medical Center frontliners.
“In the presence of Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion, I am turning over the second batch of personal protective equipment (PPE) for Bicol Medical Center (BMC) frontliners to OIC-Medical Director Francisco “Kiko” Sales III along with Camarines Sur Medical Society President Dr. Sarah Labilles, Dr. Joey Ranola, Dr. Myla Baturiano, and Dr. Sancho Tolentino Jr,” Bordado said.
“Before the turn-over, Mayor Legacion was having a discussion with the BMC officials and City Health Officer Dr. Butch Borja regarding the IMMEDIATE ESTABLISHMENT of a COVID-19 TESTING CENTER in the City of Naga, the heart of Bicol. To GOD be the glory,” he added.
In another Facebook post, Bordado also sought additional allocation for local government units in the third district of Camarines Sur to fight coronavirus disease.
“I am meeting with representatives of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Mayor Yipyip Señar, Mayor Embot Angeles, and Blezilda Rañola Betchayda, executive assistant of Mayor Tom Bongalonta, informing them of additional funding (on top of the special amelioration program for the containment of Covid-19) for the local government units in the 3rd district of Camarines Sur,” he said.
