Gov. Alvarez thanks SM Foundation for its donation to Palawan frontliners

Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez has expressed his gratitude to the SM Foundation for providing assistance to the province’s frontliners.

“Nagpapasalamat si Gob. Jose Ch. Alvarez sa lahat ng mga kompanya, organisasyon at mga indibidwal na nagpapaabot ng ayuda sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa patuloy na paglaban sa COVID-19,” the Capitol said.

The foundation arm of SM Group has provided perosnal protective equipment as well as other medical supplies to the frontliners in Palawan battling the coronavirus disease.

“Aniya, ito ay sa pamamagitan ng donasyong ipinagkaloob mula sa SM Foundation, Inc. na kinapapalooban ng 120 piraso na mga personal protective clothing, 5,000 piraso ng surgical masks at 60 gallons ng alcohol. Kabilang rin ang 3,000 piraso ng raincoat, 500 piraso ng nitrile gloves, at 300 piraso ng shoe cover,” said the Capitol.

Alvarez recognized the “huge help” that the SM Foundation provided for the Palawan health workers and frontliners.

“Malaking tulong ang mga naturang kagamitan upang magamit bilang proteksiyon ng mga frontliners sa lalawigan na patuloy na nagseserbisyo upang labanan ang Coronavirus Disease 2019,” said the provincial governement

“Matatandaang, kamakailan ay nagdonate rin ng 800 piraso ng Rapid Tesk Kits at 25,000 pirasong face masks ang ilang mga kaibigan ng Gobernador mula sa China,” it added.
