Siya na namalengke! Albay Gov. Al Francis Bichara buys farmers’ produce to distribute to the people
Albay Gov. Al Francis Bichara was happy to solve two problems with one act
This was because Bichara directed the provincial government of Albay to purchase local farmers’ vegetables to provide them income during the quarantine.
The vegetables would then be distributed to families as part of the provincial government’s relief package, he said on Facebook.
The vegetables consist of squash, rolling vegetables, chayote and bitter gourd, so each family would receive a variety of these nutritious food.
Bichara said the farmers are happy that their produce was purchased, and he is happy that he gets to supplement the needs of his constituents.
It’s a win for everybody!
“LOOK: The Provincial Government of Albay purchased raw vegetables at Buang, Tabaco and San Agustin, Libon Albay to help our local farmers in the province. This efforts was spearheaded by APAO and PSWDO as part of the augmentation support being distributed by the province to the different municipalities and cities of the province. These contains variety of vegetables like squash, rolling vegetables, chayote and bitter gourd.
With this, our local farmers were very glad with these efforts by patronizing our own raw products at this time of Pandemic COVID 19 crisis. We could limit the income loss of Local Farmers, and supplement the needs of every Albayanos,” Bichara posted.
