Condition of Oriental Mindoro’s first COVID case now improving, says Gov. Dolor
Oriental Mindoro Governor Humerlito Dolor said that the condition of province’s first coronavirus disease case — a 1-year and 9-month old baby — is now improving.
Oriental Mindoro earlier reported that its first COVID-19 case is a 21-month-old baby from Calapan City.
Dolor shared the update of the doctor taking care of the baby.
“gov…update on pt. Active, good appetite, no fever 4th day..pneumonia improved, may go on testing anytime…both companion asymptomatic..” the Governor shared.
Dolor also said that new swab specimen has been taken from the baby patient and the same has been sent to the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine for further testing.
Dolor also updated that the first batch of personal protective equipment and N95 masks intended for the Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital has already arrived.
