Collection of household utilities in Oriental Mindoro suspended, says Gov. Dolor
Residents of Oriental Mindoro can have a sigh of a relief fro now as the collection of their bills for household utilities will be suspended for a month.
Governor Humerlito Dolor said that he had already coordinated with the ORMECO and Calapan Water Works and asked them to suspend for the mean time the collection of fees while the Enhanced Community Quarantine is imposed.
The Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon was declared by President Rodrigo R. Duterte and it will last until April 14.
Maraming salamat po,” he added.
Luzon is placed under enhanced community quarantine as the country grapples to arrest the rising number of coronavirus disease cases in the country.
A state of calamity has also been declared in the Philippines.
