Tigaon Mayor Chiqui Fuentebella is glad the the scare over the novel coronavirus or COVID 19 has brought out the best in some people in her town.

Fuentebella, in a Facebook post, thanked the Manay’s Gopalas restaurant for providing free meals to the volunteers at checkpoints that were set up to check arrivals for symptoms of the virus.

She said it is one of the best feelings to give to others, and the positive energy is contagious.

Acts of kindness like this could also inspire others to make people happy.

Sharing blessings makes life meaningful, she added.
