Lahat sila mabuti! Oriental Mindoro Board Member Mikan Leachon wishes truth will prevail in House feud
Amid the leadership tussle in the House of Representatives, Oriental Mindoro Board Member Mikan Leachon has nothing but good words for all parties involved.
Leachon, the nephew of Oriental Mindoo Rep. Doy Leachon who was replaced as head of the House electoral tribunal, said his uncle makes sure to do what is right and what is for the common good.
But he also said Speaker Alan Cayetano left him with a good impression and he believes the House leader is an honorable man who would respect the term sharing.
As for Marinduque Rep. Lord Velasco whom Cayetano accused of plotting his ouster, Leachon said he has always been honest and he considers it preposterous to accuse Velasco of planning a coup.
Since he believes all the men involved in this leadership fight are honorable, he wishes the truth will prevail and the dispute will be resolved soon!
“For almost a decade of my political life I have been with Tito Cong Doy and thru all those years we have shared a tough love relationship at talagang napatunayan niya na kapag mali ay mali – kahit pamangkin ka pa niya. All of his actions are always for the common good and for the betterment of society.
I have met Speaker Cayetano thru Sec Gen Joel Montales (who is also a Mindoreño) and I left that meeting with nothing but good praises for the Speaker. Therefore, I can say that the Speaker is an honorable man and would honor the term sharing.
Cong Lord Velasco is my Ninong in our wedding. I know him personally. I treat him as a kuya and thru all the political advises that he has given me, he always makes it a point to emphasize that honesty is the best policy. So I find it preposterous for him to plan a coup d’etat eh iilang buwan nalang naman natitira.
I hope and I pray that the truth shall always prevail also with this latest news of Cong Ungab,” Leachon posted.
