MAGRI mobile app launched in Oriental Mindoro

A mobile application intended to help farmers and traders has been launched in Oriental Mindoro.

The mobile app MAGRI was introduced yesterday at the NuCiti activity area.

“Ang MAGRI ay Mobile App Onboarding para sa Farmers, Traders, Cooperatives. Layunin nitong magkaroon ng direktang ugnayan ang mga magsasaka at mga bumibili ng kanilang produktong bigas,” the Oriental Mindoro Provincial Government said.

Present during the event were Provincial Administrator MD Hubbert Christopher Dolor, representing Governor Bonz Dolor, Oriental Mindoro Provincial Agriculturist Christine Pine, Provincial Tourism Investment and Enterprise Development Officer Orlando Tizon and Executive Assistant I Ruel Quinzon.

“Sa paglulunsad na ito magkakaagapay ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa pangunguna ng Provincial Agriculturist Office, Department of Agriculture at Go Negosyo ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Naging kaagapay rin ang Philippine Chamber of Commerce sa pangunguna ni PCCI- Oriental Mindoro President Jhon Cabailo,” said the Capitol.

“Ang pagkakaroon naman aniya ng mga ganitong gawain ay isa sa mga marami pang mga proyektong inihanda ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa pangunguna ni Gobernador Bonz Dolor para sa higit pang ikauunlad ng kabuhayan ng mga taga-Oriental Mindoro, ayon kay EA I Quinzon,” it added.

Provincial Administrator Dolor said that the app aims to bring the products of farmers directly to the right agency or individual to help them improve their livelihood.

“Dagdag pa niya, samantalahin aniya ang ganitong uri ng mga gawain upang mas lumawak pa ang kanilang kaalaman sa makabagong paraan ng pagsasaka at produktibong pag-aani upang makasabay sa bilis ng panahon,” said the province.
