“Strengthening prevention control against novel Coronavirus (officially named COVID-19) in the city, Mayor Nelson Legacion convened local hotel owners to discuss their plan of action in monitoring local and international tourists visiting the city,” the city government said.

Present during the meeting were representatives from the City Health Office (CHO) and the Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office (ACTO).

Also in attendance were local hotel owners who were required to have their clients submit duly filled-out medical survey forms along with other documents that state their recent travels.

Meanwhile, Legacion also met with USAID Mission Director to the Philippines Mr. Patrick Wesner.

Wesner expressed his “support and assistance to the administration’s future plans for the city.”
