P20M rural health unit to rise in Victoria, Oriental Mindoro

A rural health unit which will be constructed in Victoria town has broken ground yesterday morning.

The said rural health unit will serve as the the primary care of the residents of Victoria before they could be brought to neighboring hospitalsm

“Matagumpay na naisagawa ang Provincial Rehabilitation at Groundbreaking Ceremony ng Rural Health Unit sa bayan ng Victoria ngayong araw,” the Oriental Mindoro Capitol said.

“Ang dalawang palapag na itatayong Rural Health Unit (RHU) ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Victoria ay ang primary care o pangunahing pagdadalhan ng mga mamamayan ng Victoria upang higit na pabilisin ang serbisyong pangkalusugan bago ilipat sa mga kalapit nitong hospital sa lalawigan partikular sa Provincial Hospital, Naujan Community Hospital at Pinamalayan District Hospital,” it added.

The said RHU will be built at the Municipal Compound in Brgy. Poblacion I, Victoria, Oriental Mindoro.

Victoria Mayor Joselito C. Malabanan said that the RHU costs P20 million and is funded by the provincial government
