Malacañang declares Feb. 21 as special non-working holiday in Marinduque


The Malacañang has declared February 21 as a special non-working holiday in the province of Marinduque.

This is in line with the centennial celebration of the the province of Marinduque.

“It is but fitting and proper that the people of province of Marinduque be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies,” the Malacañang order read.

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea issued the said order last January 6.

Meanwhile, the Province of Marinduque, headed by Governor Presbitero Velasco has lined up series of activities for the celebration.

The Marinduque Centennial Activities will be held on February 16-22, 2020
