Oriental Mindoro gov’t provides meals to stranded passengers due to Typhoon Ursula
The Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro has provided meals to the stranded passengers in the province due to rough weather conditions.
GSM Action Center Chief Operations Officer Engr. Humprey A. Dolor, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Zarah C. Magboo, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction represented Governor Humerlito Dolor during the distribution of ready meals.
“Kinatawan ni Governor Bonz A. Dolor sina GSM Action Center Chief Operations Officer Engr. Humprey A. Dolor, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Zarah C. Magboo, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Mgt Office Staff sa pagkakaloob ng ‘ready meals’ sa mga stranded passengers na kinakalinga ngayon ng lokal na pamahalaan sa Brgy Camilmil Evacuation Center,” the province saidm
“May hiwalay namang inisyatiba ng pagkakaloob ng pagkain ang City Government of Calapan,” it added.
According to the province, more than 800 passengers welcomed the Christmas in Batangas Port.
“Samantala, nasa 72 cargo trucks din ang nakapila na tatawid sana patungong Oriental Mindoro at Visayas,” said the province
“Bunsod ito ng kanselasyon ng mga byahe ng barko dahil sa bagyong Ursula,” it added.
