Bakit may ganyan? Albay Rep. Fernando Cabredo questions railings for irrigation road

Albay Rep. Fernando Cabredo is thankful to his colleagues for allocating P30 million for the construction and concreting of the irrigation service roads in Cavasi, Ligao City.

But Cabredo is questioning the addition of a seemingly unnecessary feature.

In a Facebook post, Cabredo said the road included railings that did not seem to be needed.

Since the purpose of the road is to help irrigation, why did the railings have to be installed, he asked.

He called on the engineers of the Department of Public Works and Highways to explain the design.

It’s a mystery to him!

“We are thankful to the appropriation in Congress for allotting Php 30 Million for the Construction/Concreting of Irrigation Service Roads in Cavasi, Ligao City.

The appropriated money is intended for road construction/concreting and not for these railings. Is it really necessary to have these concrete railings for irrigation service roads?

I would like to call the attention of the DPWH Engineer(s) behind in the design of these project.

PAKARAYA TABI ENGINEER KAN TRABAHO MO!!!

IMBES BAGA MAPAHALABA ANG TINAMPO IBINUTANG MO SA CONCRETE RAILINGS,” Cabredo posted.
