The educational assistance program of Camarines Norte Rep. Josie Tallado has so far benefited 660 scholars.
Rep. Tallado, member of the powerful House committee on appropriations, has partnered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to provide educational assistance for CamNorteños.
“Isa sa kanyang nalapitan ay ang tanggapan ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) na kung saan nagkakahalagang 5.7 milyong piso ang naibigay tulong pinansyal mula kay Director Isidro S. Lapeña,” Rep. Tallado’s office said.
The said funds were allocated for the Scholarship Allotment for 2019 Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) and Special Training for Employment Program (STEP).
A total of 660 scholars have benefited from the Educational Assistance sa bawat Qualification/Program in various Technical Vocational Institutions:
• 20 scholars sa Plumbing NC I sa Labo Community Skills Training Center
• 150 scholars sa Raise Organic Chicken (Leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II), Produce Organic Vegetable, Produce Organic Hogs, Produce Organic Fertilizer (Leading to Organic Agriculture Production and Leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II), Production Organic Concoctions and Extracts (Leading to Organic Agriculture Production and Leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II) sa Retiro Family Farm sa bayan ng Capalonga
• 20 scholars sa Beauty Care Services (Nail Care NC II) sa Black Nazarene Technological Institute, Inc sa Mabilo 2, Labo
• 45 scholars sa Bread and Pastry Production NC II sa Camarines Norte International School malapit sa Labo Terminal
• 125 scholars sa Driving NC II sa Provincial Training Center sa Labo
• 50 scholars sa Trainers Methodology I sa Provincial Traing Center at sa Our Lady of Lourdes Foundation, Inc.
• 25 scholars sa Perform Manicure and Pedicure (Leading to Beauty Care NC II/Beauty Care Services Nail Care NC II) at 25 scholars sa Perform Hand Spa (Leading to Beauty Care NC II/Beauty Care Services Nail Care NC II) sa Black Nazarene Technological Institute, Inc sa Mabilo 2, Labo.

“Hangarin ni Congresswoman Josie Baning Tallado na makapagbigay Educational Assistance sa mga mahihirap na mga estudyante na mag-aaral mula sa Unang Distrito ng lalawigan,” the solon’s office said.
“Ang lahat nang ito ay alay ni Cong. Josie Tallado upang makapaghatid ng serbisyong may-puso at pagkalinga sa mga nangangailangan at handa ang kanyang opisina sa kanilang tahanan sa Labo para sa mga nagnanais maging scholar para sa mga Vocational Courses ng TESDA,” it added.
