The Oriental Mindoro province will soon have its own anti-red tape office.

The Provincial Capitol has recently signed a memorandum of agreement with the Anti-Red tape Authority (ARTA) to establish the said office.

“Itatayo ang tanggapan ng Anti-Red tape Authority (ARTA) MIMAROPA sa Oriental Mindoro na kauna-unahan nitong tanggapan sa buong bansa bukod sa kanilang main office sa Makati City,” the Capitol said.

“Isang memorandum of understanding hinggil dito ang nilagdaan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan na kinatawan ni Gobernador Bonz A. Dolor at Anti-Red Tape Authority na kinatawan ni Director General Atty. Jeremiah B. Belgica sa Boardroom ng Batasang Panlalawigan nitong Oktubre 9,” it added.

Provincial Administrator MD Hubbert A. Dolor together with the department heads of the Capitol as well as Mindoro Chamber of Commerce President and former Oriental Mindoro Gov. Benjamin “Chippy” Espiritu witnessed the signing.

“Mandato ng ARTA ang ipatupad ang Republic Act 11032: An Act Promoting Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Delivery of Government Services na inaamyendahan ang Republic Act No. 9485 o ang Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007. Nilagdaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ang RA 11032 noong Mayo 28, 2018,” said the Capitol.

“Matatandaan na pangatlo sa 10-point Socio-economic Agenda ni Pangulong Duterte ang paunlarin ang kakayahan at padaliin ang pagnenegosyo sa ating bansa sa pamamagitan ng pagbawas ng red tape sa pamahalaan,” it added.
