Mayor Panaligan, VM Ramirez hail Calapan’s young scientists, inventors


Calapan City Mayor Arnan Panaligan and Vice Mayor Gil Ramirez recognized the young scientists and inventors from his city and Holy Infant Academy.

Panaligan and Ramirez gave certificates of recognition to the students of Holy Infant Academy who represented the Philippines in the International Trade and Invention Expo 2019 in London.

The team won gold and platinum awards for their scientific projects and inventions that were showcased in the said international exposition.

The students recognized werr Allysa Ericka P. Alcayde, Karize Ann T. Maminta, Kiana Nicole M. Reyes, Clara Elayne A. Pascua, Paula Marie C. Marquez, Flodah Nadine G. Rafa and Sean Aron A. Geonanga.

Their advisers, Ms. Noida DG Castro, the delegation head and EPS Science Supervisor of the Calapan City Schools Division and Mr. Dexter A. Moreno, Academic Supervisor of the Apostolic Vicariate of Calapan Parochial Schools, were likewise recognized.

“Holy Infant Academy was given the diamond award in the said international exposition,” Panaligan’s office said.
