Camarines Sur Gov. Migz Villafuerte’s Ka Fuerte Medical Assistance Program has given much needed relief to a son who wants to help his mom.

On Facebook, Villafuerte shared the story of Marlon Maceda, who’s 72 year old mother Maria Maceda suffered from an aneurysm and was comatose for almost one month.

Maria used to work as a seamstress while Marlon sold cellphone accessories. His siblings have families of their own and don’t earn huge salaries, so he had been hard pressed to find help for his mom.

Thankfully, Marlon was able to reach the Ka Fuerte Medical Assistance Program, which shouldered their expenses.

Marlon expressed his gratitude for the assistance.

May all stories like this have a happy ending!
