Cleaner air soon? Tigaon Mayor Chiqui Fuentebella can’t wait to roll out green public transpo

It looks like Tigaon Mayor Chiqui Fuentebella can’t wait to ride the new breed of tricycles.

Fuentebella said on Facebook that the town has been chosen to be one of the lucky recipients of the Department of Energy’s e-trike project.

Since the trike does not use fuel, this would promote energy efficiency and clean technologies, she said.

The e-trike would soon become a regular mode of transportation, which means cleaner air for the town, she added.

“To promote energy efficiency and clean technologies in the transport sector, LGU Tigaon is a lucky recipient of the E-trike Project of the Department of Energy (DOE). Soon, it will be one mode of transportation in the municipality which will help significantly in decreasing air pollution,” she posted.
