Albay Gov. Bichara leads medical mission in Oas high land areas
Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara has led the medical, dental, and optical mission in Oas high land areas.
The governor was joined by the staff of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and the Provincial Health Office (PHO) in the said mission yesterday held at the Barangay Mapurong Elementary School, Oas, Albay.
“The medical, dental and optical mission aims to provide free check-ups, medicines and eyeglasses catering to patients coming from the 9 remote barangays of Oas high land,” the Capitol said.
The barangays which benefited from the mission include Barangay Rizal, Calzada, Bagumbayan, Maporong, San Ramon, Tabog, Balogo, San Agustin and Bagsa.
The province also said that about thirty wheelchairs were also distributed to listed PWD and Senior Citizen recipients.
In his message, Governor Bichara recognized the efforts and service of the doctors, and other PGA employees, to make the event possible.
