Legazpi City SP urges private establishment to join Ibalong Festival opening

The Legazpi City Sangguniang Panglungsod has encouraged private institutions to join the celebration of Ibalong Festival on Friday.

The Legazpi SP passed a resolution urging private institutions, establishments and national government agencies to join the festival “by making August 16, 2019 a non working holiday.”

“Making August 16, 2019 a non working holiday, concerned employees and students will fully enjoy the celebration of the grand opening activities,” the resolution read.

“Making August 16, 2019 a non working holiday will be a show of support, an act of solidarity and promotion to the celebration of Ibalong Festival,” it added.

The resolution was unanimously approved by the members of the Sanggunian during their August 5 session.

Mayor Noel Rosal has already approved the Resolution No. 150036-2019.

Copies of the resolution were already transmitted to private establishments and institutions.
