Money well spent! Calapan City Arnan Panaligan turns over P100k reward for arrest of killer


Calapan City Arnan Panaligan is happy to give P100,000 to an informer who has helped the cause of justice.

Panaligan gave the money to the tipster who helped officials arrest a suspect in the killing of a deaf mute, according to a post on his Facebook page.

The suspect has been charged and is expected to undergo trial.

For the officials, the reward offer was money well spent!

“Crime solved – City Mayor Arnan C. Panaligan turned over a check for PhP 100,000.00 as reward to the informer who helped the police in pointing out the location of the suspect in the killing of a deaf mute in Bgy. San Rafael. The suspect was arrested and is now facing criminal charges without bail. Also in the photo are Police Lt. Col. Efraim Camara, Calapan City Chief of Police and Police Lt. Col. Rommel Briones, commanding officer of the Provincial Police Mobile Force. The two police units collaborated in ensuring the early solution of the crime,” Panaligan posted.
