Ex-Naga City Mayor Bongat gets certificate of appreciation from CamSur Banker’s Foundation


His time as local executive chief may be over but former Mayor Naga City Mayor John Bongat continues to receive accolades.

The CamSur Banker’s Foundation recently awarded the former mayor a certificate of appreciation for supporting the foundation during his term.

“THIS TIME, it’s from the CamSur Bankers Foundation, comprised of the hardworking managers of banks under the umbrella of the CamSur Bankers Assoc. (CSBA) who served as Past Presidents,” Mayor Bongat said.

“Present at the simple lunch occasion today were –
2010 – Bonifacio Bonnie Borebor (BPI)
2011 – Byronjose M. Barrameda (Robinsons Bank)
2013 – Glenn Pielago Abiog (Metrobank)
2014 – Ma. Theresa Matet Enojado (Philtrust Bank)
and May Bank Manager Chingkee Claro-sia,” he said.

Bongat left public service after serving as Naga City Mayor for three terms of nine years starting 2010.

“During my 3 terms as Mayor of Naga from 2010 to 2019, I was always invited as Inducting Officer of the association,” the former mayor said.

“I cannot thank them enough for their thoughtfulness and unwavering trust in my leadership of the city through the years,” he added.
