Albay Rep. Joey Salceda may have supported a different candidate for Speaker, but it doesn’t mean he can’t work with the President’s choice.

Salceda met with Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano after the President named Cayetano his choice for Speaker for 15 months. Cayetano will be replaced by Rep. Lord Allan Velaco as part of a terms-sharing deal.

Sharing photos of the meeting on Facebook, Salceda said Cayetano called him to his office to discuss the House agenda.

Salceda backed Rep. Martin Romualdez for the speakership.

But it looks like Salceda’s being a good soldier!

“Meeting with Speaker Cayetano -, pinapunta po nya ako para pagusapan ang House agenda,” Salceda captioned the photos.
