The Palawan’s Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management office (PDRRMO) has successfully held the 2nd Resilience Caravan 2019.

The caravan was conducted in partnership with the Puerto Princesa City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), Office of The Civil Defense-MIMAROPA at Junior Chamber International-Oil last July 5.

The said caravan roamed around the streets of Puerto Princesa City to show to the residents the equipment and machinery of the rescuers in the province.

Around 300 participants joined this year’s Resilience Caravan 2019 featuring 5 rescue vehicles.

Among those which joined the event were the Rescue 165, League of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officers of Palawan, Puerto Princesa City Police Office, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, Western Command, Philippine Navy, among others.
