Who says you can’t be productive behind bars.

Detainees in Naujan who are undergoing trial have used their time wisely by enrolling in school.

And a number of them have already graduated, impressing Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos who delivered an inspirational message for them.

In a Facebook post, Marcos congratulated the graduates of the Accreditation and Equivalency Program of the Alternative Learning System.

When they get out of detention, a better life and more opportunities could be awaiting them!

Mark Navarro Marcos,” Marcos posted.
