Mayor Panaligan outlines his vision for Calapan for the next three years

Calapan City Mayor Arnan Panaligan has presented his vision for the city in the next three years to come before the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan during their inaugural session.

“City Mayor Arnan C. Panaligan addressed the Sangguniang Panlungsod on its inaugural session. Mayor Panaligan presented his executive agenda and outlined the major programs of his administration for the next three years of his term,” Panaligan said.

Mayor Panaligan won by default last May elections after he ran unopposed.

In his inaugural address last June 30, Mayor Panaligan said that “the road to the future is always under construction.”

“Our work in building a better city goes on. The road to the future is always under construction. Together, we will pursue our goal of building a city free from poverty, a city without slums, a safe and resilient city, a city that gives opportunities to the people and demands responsibility from them,” said Panaligan.

“The only barrier to our success in the future will be our fears and hesitations today. With faith in God, let us soar high like an eagle in the pursuit of our dreams for our city,” he added.

Panaligan said that to serve as the city mayor of Calapan is a huge honor for him.

“You have given to me the mandate to serve you as municipal mayor, as vice governor and as governor. But to serve you as City Mayor for 18 years, God willing, gives me the greatest fulfilment and honor. Sa lengwahe nga ng mga millenials, ang paglingkuran kayo bilang inyong City Mayor ang aking OGL – one great love,” he said.
