Opposition congressman Edcel Lagman of Albay has taken his oath before Vice President Leni Robredo.
Lagman belongs to the erstwhile ruling party the Liberal Party, which VP Robredo heads.

Meanwhile, Lagman’s son Edcel Grex took his oath as Vice Governor of Albay before Senator Koko Pimentel.
Pimentel leads the ruling party PDP-Laban, which the younger Lagman is a part of.
