POLITIKO - The bible of Philippine Politics.
Masbate Vice Governor Kaye Revil took a trip down memory lane on the day she found out that hurdled the Bar exams.
Revil is a lawyer by profession. She graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law.
“I can vividly recall that day 8 years ago. I fetched the girls (Jovi & Bavick) from school 2:15pm. Went to the grocery. Had the driver bring home the girls. I needed time alone. Was going around for almost an hour but my cart was still empty,” Revil shared.
“I checked FB at 4pm. People were already congratulating the top 10. I didn’t receive any call yet. I didn’t know top 10 is released first,” she said.
That moment, the incumbent vice governor said she wanted to cry and just went back home.
“Saw Kevin’s happy face who exclaimed ‘Mommy!’ upon seeing me. King was playing. I went straight to the room, logged in my laptop, went to the Supreme Court website, searched through the successful examinees list,” she said.
“Frantically jumped here & there bumping my knees at tables & bed corners, because woohoo, thank God I’m a lawyer!!!,” an ecstatic Revil shared.
The Vice Governor received her first congratulatory message from her husband Vince Revil.
“That day is today to the underbars. All the best to all of you. Keep the faith. God’s grace be with you!!! Go Ateneo!!! Lex Athenia Victoria 100%!!! One big fight!!! Top the bar,” she said.
The Supreme Court is set to release the results of 2018 Bar Exams today.
