Naga Councilor Ray An Rentoy’s term may be ending, but that doesn’t mean he will stop learning.
Rentoy is in the United States as one of the Philippines’ three representatives in the American Council of Young Political Leaders: Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Fellows Program in Washington, DC and Montgomery, Alabama.
It is sponsored by the US State Department.
In a Facebook post, Rentoy asked his friends to wish him luck in the program hosted by the non-partisan and and non-profit organization.
It seeks to introduce rising political and policy leaders to international affairs and to each other.
He also assured the people that the fellowship program is fully funded and won’t cost the Naga City government a cent.
Make the Philippines and Naga proud!
