Bicol AgriExpo to open in Albay next month
The Albay Capitol will once again open the Bicol AgriEXPO next month following its success last year.
Governor Al Francis Bichara initiated the said expo, held at the Albay Farmers Bounty Village at Brgy. Cabangan, Camalig, to make Albay as the “Food Hub” of Bicol.
“With the Provincial Government of Albay, led by Governor Al Francis Bichara’s relentless pursuit and fervor in reaching new agricultural heights, the food sector of the province have at their disposal technologies, facilities, trainings, and equipment that can help them maximize the potential of their products,” the province said.
The Albay Farmers Bounty Village was constructed under the leadership of Governor Bichara.
The AgriEXPO will feature an all-inclusive one-stop shop for farmers, livestock growers, producers, and students.
“From training areas to trading posts, and a multitude of farming grounds and livestock areas, one will find everything they need to become a successful food producer,” said the province.
This year’s week-long AgriEXPO will open on May 6 2019 until May 10, 2019.
“Everyone is invited to join the grand opening celebration where the best products coming from the cities and municipalities of Albay will be showcased and available for purchase at very low prices,” the province said.
Trainings and seminars on Cacao production, organic swine production, indian mango processing, pili shell craft, jewelry and home décor, organic bath soap making, bee keeping and bee product processing, among others will be offered.
