Vice President Leni Robredo keeps the faith for Otso Diretso bets

Having started from the bottom when she decided to run for Vice President, Leni Robredo knows not to give up for the candidates of the Liberal Party.
Many of the party’s Otso Diretso senatorial bets have not made it to the winning circle in recent surveys, but Robredo is not letting this dampen her optimism.
In a Facebook post, she shared an Inquirer headline from three years ago.
The banner story, published two weeks before the election, quoted her as saying that the impossible was now happening, since she tied the former frontrunner Bongbong Marcos in the most recent survey.
She went on to win the vice presidential race.
It can happen again!
“Inquirer headline 3 years ago. Just two weeks before the elections.
We can do it again!,” she posted.
