Occidental Mindoro SP OKs Magsaysay town’s P143M 2019 budget
The Occidental Mindoro Sangguniang Panlalawigan has approved the annual budget of Magsaysay town amounting to more than P143 million during its 123rd regular session.
The council gave its approval to the appropriation ordinance granting Magsaysay town a budget of P143,787,240.00 for this year.
The budget was contained in Appropriation Ordinance No. 150-2018, which was moved to be approved by Hon. Jaravata and duly seconded by Hon. Trisha Kaye Fabic and Hon. Damaso Abeleda II.
Meanwhile, the SP also okayed the tequest from Governor Mario Gene J. Mendiola for an authority to enter and sign a Tripartite Memorandum of Agreement for and in behalf of the provincial government of Occidental Mindoro with the National Nutrition Council (NNC) and the Municipal Government of Calintaan referring to the Early Childhood Care Development (ECCD) in the first 1000 day of 1K program.

Review and approval of Ordinance No. 883 s 2019 “Declaring every last Saturday of May as Dengue Awareness and Prevention Day in the Municipality of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro ( moved by Hon. Nestor Tria and Hon. Ernesto Jaravata seconded by Hon. Damaso Abeleda II and Hon. Mark Anthony Legaspi)
Review and approval of Ordinance No. 884 s 2019 ” An Ordinance setting the mechanisms on the distribution of fees for service payments for Maternal Care Package (MCP), Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC), Primary Care Package (PCB) and TB DOTS package derived from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC) rendered by the San Jose Public Health and Diagnostic Center of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro ( moved by Hon. Nestor Tria seconded by all members present)
Review and Approval of the Annual Investment Plan (AIP for FY 2019 of the municipality of Mamburao under Resolution No. 2018-65, series of 2018, with inclusion of) 2019 GAD Plan and Budget; b) 2019 Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund Investment Plan (LDRRMFIP); c) 2019 Annual Work and Financial Plan ( AWFP) for Children; d) 2019 Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan ( moved by Hon. Lope Asilo, Hon. Damaso Abeleda II and Hon. Ulysses Javier seconded by all members present)
Review and Approval of Ordinance No. 1044, series of 2019, “An Ordinance prescribing the rate for security deposits on stall rental and electricity to be defrayed by the leaseholders of stalls in the new public market ( moved by Hon. Mark Philip Ramirez seconded by all members present)
