Daraga Mayor Awin Baldo keeps an eye on the town

Call him big brother?

As the election draws near, Daraga Mayor Awin Baldo is making sure that there are eyes always watching public places in his town.

Baldo, in a Facebook post, said he has set up 25 close-circuit TV cameras in Daraga’s commercial district, and 16 cameras inside the Daraga Public Market and other strategic locations.

This is to ensure that there will be a 24/7 watch in the city, which would hopefully improve its security and peace and order situation, he said.

With this kind of system in place, may bloodshed be kept out of the polls!

“CCTV in Daraga

Setting up the coverage of 25 CCTV cameras located at Daraga commercial district, 16 CCTV cameras inside Daraga Public Market and other strategic locations in order to maintain 24-hour security.

Having round-the-clock visuals on the busy streets and establishments is another means in improving the security, and peace and order in Daraga,” Baldo posted.
