Albay Gov. Bichara brings medical mission to Jovellar town
The medical, dental, and optical mission initiative of Governor Al Francis Bichara has now reached the town of Jovellar.
The governor led the mission in line with his “strong advocacy to strengthen and provide medical assistance to the whole province of Albay.”
The said mission was facilitated by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and the Provincial Health Office (PHO) last March 22 at the Jovellar Gymnasium, Jovellar, Albay.
During the mission, a total of twenty-five (25) wheelchairs were distributed among the first twenty-five (25) listed receipients who are persons with disabilities (PWD) and senior citizens coming from the remote areas of the municipality.
Jovellar Mayor Jorem Arcangel has expressed his gratitude to the provincial government for bringing the medical mission to the municipality.
“Nagpasalamat akong maray sa satung gobernador sa tinao nyang medical, dental and optical mission sa satuyang banwa.”, Mayor9 Arcangel said.
Meanwhile, Board Member Dante Arandia said that doctors from the different upland areas of Albay interconnect to extend their service to the municipality of Jovellar.
The provincial government said that the residents of Camalig, Albay will be the next beneficiary of the mission today, March 25.
