Daraga Mayor Baldo discusses peace and order plans during Municipal Advisory Council meeting
Mayor Carlwyn “Awin” Baldo has led the Municipal Advisory Council meeting yesterday where they discussed the peace and order plans in Daraga.
Mayor Baldo said that several measures were tackled in order to make the streets of Daraga safer such as the installation of closed-circuit television cameras.
“Short and long term plans regarding peace and order in the Municipality have been discussed. Also, the installation of CCTVs along the streets of Daraga commercial district was highly-appreciated by the Council,” Baldo said.
Baldo also announced taht a new Philippine National Police Station in the town will be formally opened next week.
“[W]e are proud to announce that the newly-constructed Daraga PNP Police Station located at Doña Maria Subdivision, Daraga, Albay will have its inauguration on March 26, 2019,” said Baldo.
“This endeavor is another means in preserving my mandate as Mayor of Daraga: ensuring the peace and order, and the general welfare of the entire Daragueño constituency,” he added.
